Comments: This was my first indoor soccer experience and the first time UT organized the tournament as well. Our team members were mostly Operations Research graduate students (Texas Operations Research Student Organization). 28 squads started the war for the title. We were beaten up in our first game, but then we had a couple of very good and exciting matches thatw ere decided in sudden-death overtime. We had fun, but were left more-action-thirsty in this short tournament.

Comments: This time the tournament was more organized. 48 teams were placed into 12 4-team groups, with the top two advancing to the playoffs. By then, I had just met Alfredo Díaz, Germán Gómoez, and Juan Solís. They also brought some friends like Javier, Pepe, and Andy. Alex Manríquez and Alexis Takvorian, from last year squad, played as well. We had tough matches, but had a very good team too and survived the qualifying round. In the round of 16, we had a showdown that ended scoreless. It took 9 dramatic shoot-outs (by each team) to decide the winner, and it wasn't us. Nonetheless, we enjoyed it a lot better than last year.

Comments: 54 teams, divided into 14 groups, started the war for the title. This time, René, Alejandro, Rafael, and Omar joined the team. Although we suffered the loss of Germáln, Juan, and Andy, who played in a different team. We once again managed to make it to the playoffs, the key being the opening match victory against Upper Ninety. In our last match, we had by four goals, exactly what we needed to clinch the playoff spot. We were again eliminated in the round of 16 playoff match in another exciting thriller at Gregory Gym.

Comments: This was by far our best team. Germán, and Andy were back in the team, plus the addition of Íñigo, Martíln, Oscar, and Richard made us real contenders. This time we bit the dust in the quarter-finals against the team that would eventually grab the title. We finished in 7th place out of 68 teams.
