Well, it didn't seem possible, but after almost a nine-year
absence period, Dínamo is back. It was
a great feeling seeing back all old teammates, nine years
older, but perhaps nine years wiser.
We returned to Unidad Deportiva Anahuac, where
now the powerhouses had other names.
The challenge was to prove we were still
able to compete against younger folks.
The reunion was formed by Chendo (13th season),
Roger (12th season), Gil (11th season), Armando (9th season),
Barbosa (9th season), Juanillo (9th season)
Reynaldo (8th season), Jorgillo (7th season), Morro (4th
season), and Eligio (1st formal season).
Mike just came for a few games and practically didn't
play due to his job. making his debut,
Fidel, my brother, came only for
four games, and then let due to school.
Toward the end, Beto joined to play the last four games. We had a very good season after an uncertain struggle at the start of the season. We soundly beat defending champ, CAMINSA, in a heck of a game that gave us the league's respect one more time. Unfortunately, I suffered a terrible season-ending injury when I torn my Achilles tendon in mid fenruary. Nonetheless, we made it to the playoffs, and bite the dust in a great game against defending Subcampeon, Cumbres. Dinamo was more than willing to return next season.
