Comments
We had again a two-phase tournament just like the past two seasons. There were several changes in our team. Martín, Pepe, and David left us, after 4, 3, and 2 seasons, respectively. Roger was out for the season due to a severe back injury. Mario Montante (from FCFM) and José Isabel (Gordo), an ex-Atlante joined the squad. The rest of the gladiators: Chendo (9th season), Gil (9th season), Barbosa (8th season), Rey (7th season), and Juan (5th season). Later in the season, Morro re-joined the team (3rd season), after spending the last five seasons with Atlante. However, Chendo and Barbosa also left in the middle of the season due to job issues.

Another outstanding first half took us to the second phase with lots of hope. We started great, winning our first three matches, including a 6-2 victory over defending champ, Lomas. However, the loss of Barbosa left us without goalkeeper, and several players missed key matches. We still made it to the playoffs for 8th season in a row, but had a disappointing performance in the semi-final against Repuestos Monterrey. This time, we didn't even show up for the third place match and we came with no trophy for the first time in the past six seasons.

Injuries were a factor. Besides, Morro and Gordo were going to return to Atlante, so it was evident that we needed a break to regroup and we decided to take a season off.
