The format of the tournament was the same of that of last
season, that is, a 32-team 1st phase divided into 4 8-team
groups, followed by a 2nd phase with the top two teams in
each group forming the Division 1. We kept the same players from last season plus the addition of Rey, who returned home after 3 seasons of working at Chihuaha. This was our squad: Roger (9th season), Chendo (8th season), Gil (8th season), Barbosa (7th season), Rey (6th season), Juan (4th season), Martín (4th season), Pepe (3rd season), and David (2nd season). We, again, had an outstanding season. We made it to the second phase playing very well. The second phase was very tough, it was a real war among everyone, but it was also a playoff-like atmosphere in each game that made it sensational. We arrived at the last match in 5th place and met the 4th place Adidas needing a win to make it to the playoffs for 7th season in a row. In a tremendous showdown, Dínamo came through with a 5-2 victory. However, we met in the semi-final arch-rival Atlante for third year in a row. Like last season, we couldn't do it and lost 2-6 in a very good match. We grabbed another 3rd Place trophy, though, but we now started to miss those titles. We couldn't wait to next season.
