For this season, most of us had graduated from school
(this month) so it was a bit less difficult to get the
money for team registration and a new set of uniforms.
This was also the first season that we used our trademark
name: Dínamo, thanks to Roger's revolutionary ideas.
We started the season with the same players from last season,
except Jorge, who took the season off due to a nose surgery,
and Morro, who left us to join his former team, Atlante.
In their 5th season: Armando, Rey, and Roger.
In their 4th season: Chendo, Gil, and Lalo.
In his 3rd season: Barbosa, and Lucio. This was going to be our season. We were just playing incredibly great. We even took revenge from defending champ Neurodiagnóstico (who eliminated us in last season semi-final) to end the first half as the best team. However, in the middle of the season, we suffered the loss of our scoring machine, Rey, who found a job in Chihuahua and who was on his way to grab his first top scorer trophy, leading all scorers by a tremendous margin. Lalo, our goalie, also left us in the middle of the season. Since we were no longer affiliated to FCFM, we were forced to bring new players: Juan Argueta (Juanillo), one of my best friends, and soccer teammate who had never played indoors before. Amado Ramírez, another good player from my soccer team; and Carlos, Armando's cousin. Even though they were good players, it wasn't easy for them to adapt to this sport and we suffered a bit when they came. We made it to the quarter-finals in 2nd place overall after finishing the season with a 0-4 loss to Neurodiagnóstico. We met our fate in the quarter-final when Adidas beat us 1-2 in a very exciting match.
