Comments
This was our debut in a very competitive futsal league. We formed the team with players from Facultad de Ciencias Físico-Matemáticas, hence the team name. The FCFM sponsored us with a set of t-shirts and that was it. These were the ones who formed the first-ever team: Armando Valdés, Arturo Zavala, Enrique Escobedo (Quique), Jorge Ramírez (Jorgillo), Lucio López, Reynaldo Tovar (Rey), Roger Ríos, and Rosendo Treviño (Chendo).

The team came through, and the experience was great. It was very special to play those matches in front of big crowds at the Unidad Deportiva Anáhuac (UDA) Gym. We fall short of making it to the semi-finals, but we had the chance to defeat power-house Sucho in our best game of the season. Towards the end, we lost the key match against Linda Vista. This was the beginning of one of the greatest rivalries of all times. We were looking forward to next season.
